Michael Wester

I grew up in a typical Texas home surrounded by Friday night lights and powerlifting. We moved north, and I went to NWTI in Springdale to become a diesel tech. Somewhere along the way I stopped taking care of myself physically, and by the time Emily and I were married I was eating whatever was easy and feeling it.

When she started tracking food, I saw real changes and followed suit. Strength training clicked. I grew to love the process and set bigger goals, including strongman.

What gets me up every morning is trying to be better than I was yesterday, and helping people do the same on the floor.
